I have a Windows 2012 R2 box that will replace a 32bit master server. I need to install 7.5.0.6 on the 2012 box but can't install 7.5 to start the process - not supported. Is this achievable? Plan is to match the NBU version, restore a cat backup and policies form the old server than upgrade the new box to NBU 7.6.0.2. Is there a 7.5.0.6 full install - not just the maintenance release?

The 7.5.0.6 full release is unfortunately for W2012 client only: www.symantec.com/docs/TECH204661
NBU server is only supported as from 7.6.
So, you will have to stand up a W2008 server as intermediate step and patch to 7.5.0.6, then migrate to this server as per http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH77447 .
Next, upgrade to 7.6.0.2. then use the same steps to migrate to W2012 server.

Thanks Marianne. I suspected as much. That's too much hassle. I think we'll configure a new master and move the jobs over. Data retention is a year so we can let the old systems die gracefully.
