Hi, Last week I started the backup & it failed after 3 days by giving media positioning error after reading 932 GB of data data. Now Yesterday we restarted it again & now it only completes reading of 304 Gb in 26 HR.

Transfer speed between 1-4 MB (changing)

Please suggest.

Can you give more detail on what "slow" is?

Also what kind of filer is this and what kind of network connection are you using?

There are many things you can do to improve speed but they all really depend on the envionmentals, things like tuning buffers can be a large help depending on the filer type.
