Netbackup 6.5 with Exchange 2007 CCR

Hey,

I'm running an Exchange 2007 CCR environment (Clustered Continous Replication). There are 2 nodes in active/passive configuration.

I've tried installing the Netbackup 6.5 client software on the Passive, but when I launch the Backup, Archive & Restore application, I do not see anything related to Exchange? I tried the same on the Active server with the same results. We have a Netbackup 6.5 Server running as well which the client was directed to, and from the server when the backup is run an error is returned "The information store was not found".

Did I miss something?

Hi Matt,

Did you try adding backup selections from the policy configuration in NetBackup Admin Console/Java Console? It has always worked for me.

Please upgrade the Version of Netbackup 6.5 to latest version i.e. 6.5.4 .

For minimum  version for Netbackup to support Exchange 2007 is 6.5.2A.

You need to upgrade the Server version as well as Client Version of Netbackup.

I know we have a lot of archaeologists around here, but could we maybe cut back on digging up the really old posts and tacking responses onto them?
