One for Marianne vdb: NDMP licensing tiers

Hello All

All I require is the licensing model for NDMP backups.

We may be upgrading our Netapp storage and I need to find out if our current Netbackup/NDMP license needs modifying accordingly.

Any information gratefully received.

Thanks for the personal trust!

Any list member with 'Accredited' badge has access to the Licensing Guide and will be able to answer your question... or not!

My problem is that this Licensing Guide cannot be publically shared, so I am not sure how much of the info I am allowed to share...

One NetBackup for NDMP license is required for each NDMP-enabled NAS device. Licensing is per Tiered NAS Device.

Best to check with your local reseller if the upgrade will result in higher tier level.

Contact your local reseller or where you buy licenses from.  They will give you actual pricing and not just MSRP.
