Hi,
I want to know how oracle backups are configured in NetBackup. Also i would like to know how to make out in activity monitor which is online backup and archive backup. All i can see in my environment is , many streams and not able to understand which is online and archive.
some help here appreciated.

Have you tried the manual yet?
NBU for Oracle Admin Guide for UNIX, Windows, and Linux http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC3672
Difference and archive log backups is normally visible in Overview section of the job.
There will be a 'file name' that is determined by the rman script.
If we look at the sample script supplied with NBU installation, it will probably be something like:
bk_......... for databases
al_.......... for archive logs.
It all depends on what is specified in FORMAT string in rman scripts in your environment...

however , Can u pls run below command on master server & post o/p
<install_path>\NetBackup\bin\admincmd\bppllist <oracle_policy> -L

You need to use diffrent schedules in Netbackup in order to see what jobs are online backup and archive job.
e.g:
onlien backup use schedule : oracale_online
butarchive use schedule : oracle_archive
