Primary server EEB installation from WebUI

Hello colleagues,

I'd like to ask you if it's possible to install EEB update directly for the NetBackup Primary server (version 10.3.0.1) from the Web UI -> Deployment management?

I'm not really sure how it works since it should restart the Primary server application itself.

what type of netbackup you have?

is it on top of a normal windows/linux server, then you need to download the EEB and install it inside the OS level.
is it on top of netbackup appliance, you need to install it via CLISH
is it on top of veritas Flex applaince, you need to do it form appliance console.

yes, it's option number 1, installed and running on Windows server.

You'll need to stop the services manually, copy the EEB to the OS and run it manually. Some EEBs will stop the services, some EEBs will require you to stop them before hand.

If you have a replication partner, consider installing the EEB on it as well.
