The Activity Monitor failed because of cannot connect to socket

i have the same problem, i have upgrade my NBU to 7.7, is there other reason (except server's resource) ? because this problem is recuring again and again.

Usage CPU 9%

Usage Memory 85%

Which 7.7.x version?
7.7.1 had issues with Java Console that was fixed in either 7.7.2 or 7.7.3.

Which Windows version? 
How much memory and page file size on your master?
Is your master also a media server? Which type of backup storage?
How many simultaneous jobs during backup window?

Has any kind of performance tuning been done?
