Are you restoring from disk or tape?
Connectivity has been lost to the fibre attached server, try rebooting the server to re-establish the connectivity.

Hi,

Please let me know whther you have created the RSG for restoration....That RSG should be created with the same name of the Store which you are going to restore.. Thats  very important in Exchange backup restoration.

Please reply if you still not getting the point.

Thanks
Dinesh

Zahid,
Can you also provide more information regarding the issue you're experiencing?
  1. What version of Netbackup are you running?
  2. What version of Exchange are you running?
  3. What is the OS of the netbackup Media/Master server involved in doing the restore?
  4. Is the media server running the job also the Master server?
  5. What is the destination media for the backup? (Disk, Tape, other)
  6. Has this ever worked? Or is this the first attempt?
  7. Are you taversing a SAN for this restore? That is, are you restoring the data over a SAN or some other type of network?
Once you have that information, try looking here:
