Windows NBU 6 and FlashBackup expectations (Speed and Resources)

I am running the following configuration:

NBU 6 MP4 for Windows - SAN Media Server

Dell 1855 Blade - Boot from SAN
EMC SAN CX500
EMC DL710 (VTL)
2GB Fiber connections

I have a 100GB drive that is currently under FlashBackup.  Transfer rates are in the 12MBs range.  I am thinking I should get better performance.  I am being delusional?

Also, I have another drive, on the same machine, that I am trying to put under FlashBackup.  However, I keep getting a Status 36.  The machine has 4GB memory with 4GB pagefile.sys.  Here are the drive characteristics:  1.3TB with 4+ million files.  Is there a calculation to determine my memory and pagefile.sys requirements?

Many thanks in advance...
