Wonderful licensing problem!

I am waiting for a product exchange from Symantec, so in the meantime they set me up with a demo key which was then extended with another key.  Well, my extended key ran out and now I have users lined up who can't get to their archived files... of course I can't backup or restore either.  My Symantec guy said that they'll overnight me an NFR copy to get me up and running.  Any of you experienced this problem?  I understand it's to keep people from pirating, but situations like this are not fun...

Have you tried removing the key and reusing it?

I've been in situations like this and Symantec has always been able to provide a temp key.

The problem with Temp keys is that they expire and a request for another temp key should be made at least one week in advance before the current temp key expires.  This will help prevent the Netbackup processes from stopping completely.
