Is it possible to connect autoloader to virtual machine? autoloader will be connected to ESXi box physically. Can my vm in the ESXi see the autoloader and use it. RHEL is running on virtual machine

Probably best to take a look at this:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/virtual-mastermedia-servers-tape-drive-config

.

Just curious as to autoloader connectivity?  SCSI, SAS, FC, iSCSI, other?   (BTW - I am not implying that it is supported - it's just that someone else may have already done it - and might be willing to explain to you how they did it... if you are able to confirm connectivity).

Is library already shared with other physical hosts?

It is FC autoloader. It is not being shared with other physical hosts. Thanks for referring to other post, which is very useful
