please look at the command output
above drives are shared connected with g08 media server but i m unable to understand what is scan host andd assign host .please explain

the first media server to come online & start services can become the SCAN-HOST for an SSO'd tape drive(s) - verifies connectivity/availability of same to the other media servers.

Presumably then, the Assign Host is the media server that currently has that drive assigned to it.
