Converting .v2i to .vmdk?? Help!

Hi all, I am trying to perform some pentesting and I am trying to convert a .v2i image file to a .vmdk vmware virtual disk so that I can load it up in vmware to perform tests. I have searched google for information on how to do this but have had no luck. Could someone please advise on how I can do this.
