Windows 10 System recovery 21
I have a hard drive that was used In my computer over year ago. System recovery identifies this hard drive as B:Backup.I have changed the letter from B: to Q: and the name from "backup" to "new _data". The problem is when I attempt to backup this Q hard drive system restore will not allow me because It still identifies this hard drive as B: Backup it thinks there is still an open backup job. I am getting an error that only one recovery point backup can exist for drive. I cannot find any backup jobs that I can delete for this hard drive.
How do I get system recovery to re-identify this hard drive with its new name?

Did you reboot the system? After rebooting the system please modify the backup job to reselect Q drive.

Maybe the only way is to delete the history and job files and recreate the job?
