Not sure I'm posting in the correct forum, but here goes:
I've been using Norton Ghost 14 succesfully for 1 year to backup C: About two weeks ago, I began to get messages of "unable to create backup". I saw a suggestion to run chkdsk and did so. Now, the Ghost system tray icon is present and indicates status is "backed up" but Ghost will not start when I click on the icon (I get a splash screen for 30 secs, and then it disappears with nothing else appearing).
I've tried running setup.exe from ProgramFiles\NortonGhost\Packages\Agent -- nothing happens.
I'm running WinXP Pro w dual core CPU. Everything else seems fine.
I'm baffled. Be grateful for any suggestions. Many thanks!
