When we create a backup job, we can set a password for backup data in "Security Options" section. AES encryption type is 128-bit, 192-bit or 256-bit.
If the backup data is put to a shared folder, the transfer data is encrypted with SMB v1, v2 or v3. The SMB version depends on the OS version.
If the backup data is put to Cloud storage, the transfer data is encrypted with TLS 1.2.
