In this latest episode of the Voice of Veritas, Zoe Sands, Social and Community Marketing at Veritas interviewed Julie Noizeux, Distribution Success Manager in South Africa, on Adding Value with Distribution and Strategic Partners. During the interview, Julie shared that her role is to make sure that Veritas’ distributors have a successful Veritas practice and have the latest go to market strategies. She says that Distributors add value to the IT selling process by providing dedicated staff, investment in skills, offer financing and credit channels to resellers. They also provide Veritas with breath and reach in the market, can adapt Veritas’ strategy plays and drive these locally, provide insights into the market and leverage existing business relationships to deepen Veritas marketing share. Julie also shared that the characteristics of what makes a good distributor, these are; great at pitching business, offer extensive capabilities and employ passionate people which leads to a successful partnership. In recent times Distribution has changed from point selling to adding value, leveraging relationships and offering new opportunities with cloud offerings.
