We have just upgraded to exchange 2007 and I need to find a 64bit version of the client to install backup exec. The current 9.1 disk I have will not let me install the client on a 64 bit server. Anyone come across this yet?

I have already tried Daniel's fix with a Symantec support tech. It did not work. I presently have a case open with tech and they will get back to me when a solution is found. Symantec realizes this is a new issue and are working on it.

Thx Ken, Man this 64bit stuff is confusing sometimes, veritas says there is a exchange client tools to install locally on the server to back up exchange 2007.I have to upgrade to newer version to backup a 64bit server?

Thanks for the info Ken, so you are saying in order to use backup exec to backup a 64 bit server running exchange 2007 then we need to upgrade to version 11HM I'll bet this will be expensive
