On the devices tab, I used to have listed in the tree both ARCHIVE 1 and DELL 1 as drives under All Devices -> Drive Pools -> All drives and also listed under All Devices -> Server1 -> Stand-alone Drives. I deleted Dell 1 from under Stand-alone drive...

Updated the device drivers. Upgraded the firmware on the tapedrive. Now instead of both drives in the listing (there was ARCHIVE 1 and DELL 1) as offline. Only DELL 1 was. So, I deleted DELL 1 from the stand-alone drives listing and tried to reinstal...

There is a tape physically sitting in the drive. However, when you select ARCHIVE 1 in the device menu. THe media properties are blank, as if there's no tape there at all.

I checked and didn't see this listed...I wanted to be sure that this is compatible with an ARCHIVE Python 06408 tape drive.

The only selectable options when I right-click Drives are rename, delete, refresh, and properties.
