I thought that Symantec was releasing a product that ran on Linux (without any windows servers). With Netware moving out of the picture, we will be moving to a linux only environment and would like to contuinue to use Backup Exec.
When can we expect a standalone backup product for linux. You apparently are stopping driver updates for NetWare, because almost every autoloader on the market that is current is not supported.
I am disappointed on the timeframe, Novell has been doing linux for two years now, and ships their OES 2 (Netware on Linux) in 2 to 3 weeks. We don't have windows servers and don't want them just to do backups.
