We just upgraded from 5.1 to 6.5. When we do a catalog backup it uses two tapes now. One tape has 22 images on it and one has just one, the EMM_DATA.db. Is there a way to get this on the same tape as the other images?

We are currently at 6.5 and have not yet applied 6.5.1 patch. I am interested to know what it fixes.

Don't know why it wasn't there with the installation, but I downloaded the "ncompress rpm" and installed it from there. ncompress installs compress and uncompress in /usb/bin

Problem resolved. On this new server running RHEL4.0 there is no /usr/bin/uncompress file. Once I installed it the images uncompress and I can restore the files.

This definitely has to do with compression. We compress our catalog after 360 days. I turned logging up to level 5 verbosity and the bpdbm log is showing that it is failing when trying to decompress the file. Could this be a bug in 6.5?
