operating system is Windows server 2003 standard, and the size of the partition being backed up is 300gb. It is not a local hard disk on the server. It is a presented drive from a SAN.

I've had a similiar problem, and you should try deleting your job and recreating the job, i know it sounds simplistic, but it helped me!

Just tried my first install of BESR 8 and it spontaneously rebooted my server!!! =( I was upgrading from 7.03, but i think i will wait for a month or two before going to this new version.Error code 000000d1, parameter1 00000004, parameter2 d0000002...
