Backup Exec 11d and sql Express 2008

I am using Backup Exec 11d with the SQL Agent to backup databases stored using SQL 2000.  The same Server has now had SQL Express 2008 installed in addition to SQL 2000.  Can the database in SQL Express 2008 be backup up as well with the same agent
