hi KunJ, I did that and first of all removed the offending servers sys state from the job (as this was what it was hung on) and then ran the job again. This time it hung on the same server but on shadow copy components so I removed the server complet...

Thanks for that. It certainly explains why I could find nothing "wrong" in the set up. It's by design
