We cannot get veritas to compress data. the backup has started calling for additional tapes even though the option has been selected in setup. this is happening in two different locations in town.
Thanks for the reply, The compression has been selected in the veritas software. I was not aware of any hardware jumpers on the tape drive itself, I will check to see if there is such a switch. Thank you Rodney WattsTallahassee, Florida
