I had the same issue, Win2000 Servers with the 11d (build 7170) agent. I had to manually sit at a KVM and install the agent, after that all was well. I belive that terminal services was the issue. I hope that helps.

Click on tools, than License keys and instalations, from there have your licenses ready and follow the prompts.

I confirmed this with Symantec (sort of) it must be the SQL Upgrade.

OMFG, just went to the next step, I began the upgrade at @ 11:00AM EST and it finished at 5:16EST.Does anyone have an explanation for this? I'd still like to know. My guess is a DB or catalog updates?!? But thats still ridiculosly LONG.Thanks in adva...
