This is really strane, before a few days, the backup finished on 1 tape. The settings didn´t changed. Since there there is a bit more data but this should not be the reason.

I tried a few tests. When i backup a few folder on the server - the tape compress the files 1.2:1. But the whole backup will still not compress. So the compression in general will work – but why it doesn´t compress my normal backup ?

The HP Firmware Update helps to fix the problem. Now everything ist fine and ony one tape is needed thanks for your help

it shows that no cleaning tap required, there are just a few write errors 7 -10. Where i can update / download the drivers. The Firmware of the tap is up to date
