I finally found the solution to the problem. I had to add the recursion level flag -rl 10 to get it to work.So this line works fine bpflist -U -d $1 -client $3 -backupid $i -rl 10 |sed 's/.*P=$.*$\ D=.*/\1/;'|egrep '^\/'|sed 1qThanks to all.-G
