.. and the compression is 1.5:1 on every backup so far this week compared to 2.7:1 last week.

Hi. All tapes report zero errors. The number of files is the same (Image backup of server). Tape drive statistics: not many errors. Will try compression type "hardware else none". Thanks for speedy replies. FinnSv
