not able to restore VMDK file on network shared folder in EXEC 2010 r3

hi All,   i am not able to restore my VMDK file backuped up earlier to a network shared folder. i go to vmware redirection and given path there but still getting error. can you please help me to get out of there.   rgds, Deepak

Hello,   i am using symantec backup EXEC 2010 R3. i want to restore the vmdk files from tape to my local system drives.  Is that possible through Backup EXEC ? Please suggest. Thank You ! Deepak
