Weird behavior with Oracle Backup Sets

This happens during an Oracle server rebuild scenerio.  We are running Backup Exec 2014 on the same server as Oracle. We first restore the server using SDR.  No problems with that.  We inventory / catalog the NAS drive that contains our backup sets...
