We are running BE Version 10.0, including the Agent for SQL. When the agent truncates a log file, does it free the space that was occuplied by the truncated data or does it maintain the file size?
I understand the differences between the two backup types. My qusetion is - does BE free the disk space that was used by the logs or just truncate them? My understanding is when MS SQL truncates a log, it does not free the space.Thanks
