In response to #1 I have to go into Exchange System Manager and purge the mailbox, deleting the user from AD isn't good enough, the users mailbox is simply marked for deletion.Hope this helps.

I too am having this problem.The Error " V-79-57344-65245 - A Failure occurred accessing the object list" occurs during a Volume Shadow Copy Services (VSS) backup. The hotfixes don't help me out either. What is to be done next?
