Difference between Differential Inc backup and Cumulative Inc backup.

Steps to configure a client
i want to configure a client at netbackup level. Please correct if i am wrong. for Unix client 1)install the OS 2)we can ask network team to provide an IP and regestering the client in DNS server. Once regerstation done will get the FQDN to our system. 3)we will install netbackup client server software in the machine, it will ask licence key, master, media server names while installing and once installation done 4)we need to add client entries in master server bp.conf , etc/host file. 5)now will chek for the connectivity using ping, telnet and nslookup commands, Once the connectivity is fine will configure the server as netbackup client. Disk Pool Re-sizing
Hi , i have 2 disks pools (as showing in the attached) 1- New_Pool and (advancedisk) 2- dp_disk_drccbu01 (PureDisk) everything is working fine with me just initially when we configure new_pool (advance Disk)we have taken all the backup on a storage unit which is reside on this pool, later on we decide to configure another disk pool (pureDisk) and create new storage unit and start all backups on it which we need exactly, now what i need is the bellow: 1)delete New_pool Disk pool (all the images into this pool is not needed). 2)increase the size of dp_disk_drccbu01 (pureDisk) with the free size which is deleted from new_pool. can someone help me if that's is possible? if yes then how? thanksSolved7.4KViews1like20Comments

How I can to set overwrite backup to preventing full disk space? Can I deleting the old data manually?
