What to Back up on BE 3600 Appliance

Hello All,

I have another question on the BE 3600 appliance.

What exactly should i be backing up if i need to do a restore?

I know I need to backup the data and catalogs for Backup Exec but the appliance has so many other folders and multiple locations for catalogs.

The size is very large when i back it up.

Hi,

Ideally you want to backup the Data and Catalogs folders, as well as either the BEDB via the SQL agent, or bedb.bak.

That will allow you to restore the appliance if need-be. This is confirmed in the TN below:
