This error message started on the 1st of this month and nothing had changed on the server.
Read other links and created a new logonn account and delegated admin permissions in Exchange etc.
When it backs up a mailbox it fails with 0xa0008488 access denied and when looking at the backup log is shows all email etc as skiped - in use.  I'm at a loss as to what to try, also did some testing without the Groupshield service running.  The server is SBS2003.  Has anyone else had this issue and found a way round the problem.
