I have Exchange 2007 (running on x64 Win 2003 ServerR2) and Backup Exec 11D 7170 (running on 32-bit Win 2003 Server R2).If I install Hotfix24, neither the backup or restore works.Error: 0xe000ff02 - One or more of the databases for this storage group are currently dismounted. This backup is incomplete. Make sure that all databases are mounted, and then resubmit the backup job.If I uninstall Hotfix24, then the backup job works fine, no errors, but the restore doesn't work.
Error: 0xe000848c - Unable to attach to a resource. Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again. Final error category: Resource Errors
I have installed the Exchange Server Management Tools on the Backup server and MAPI and Collaboration Data Objects on the Exchange Server. The user credentials should be ok and it has Admin privileges on the Exchange Server as well as a mailbox. The backup succeeds if I uninstall Hotfix24 and re-install the Remote Agent on the Exchange Server. The restore however does not succeed, always gives the error above.
Any ideas?
