11D and Encryption

Hello,

We have been using Backup Exec 11d for a while now but recently started to use encryption with it. Ever since we started using the encryption portion of BE 11d the Verify on our backup jobs have been showing a error message of "e000fe34 - A checksum of the data has failed." on every resource of the servers that were backed up. I have been looking for a few hours now trying to see if I should not be using a Verify on a backup job that is using encryption but I cannot find a article that says if you should or shouldn't. Does anyone have a article somewhere that says if you should not or if there is some other issue with our backups and that those should not be giving those errors on the verify.

Thanks,
Justin

Refer the following document

I think that answers your concerns

I've seen that document. Inside that document it only mentions that happening on System State. I mentioned that it happens on every resource (C:, D:, SQL etc) of the backup job.
