11d - Backup to Removable Disk and GRT

Is there a fix/patch to allow backup to removable disk with Exchange GRT enabled that does not fill up the backup media?  I've witnessed that the IMG files do not purge off the removable disk like they do on B2D. 

Is this also the case with 12.5?

You dont need to worry about it as this issue is fixed in version 12 AND 12.5 .

yeah v11d had a "feature" where GRT backups would not follow standard Ovewrite/Reuse rules.  They would only reuse when the disk became full or when the Disk Space Reserve had been met

As Rahul says, this has been fixed in v12.x
