Hello,
I have a failing backup exec 12.5:
Policy:
1. Full backup to backup to disk folder
2. Duplicate job from backup to disk to tape
Media sets:
Tapes(Screenshot 1) : Overwrite protected: 1 week, Append period: Infinite - Allow Append
Backup 2 disk(Screenshot 2): Overwrite protected 2 days, Append period: 2 Days
Devices:
Backup to disk folder 1(Screenshot 3): Max size for backup2disk files: 4GB, Max nr of backup sets per b2d file, Allow 1 concurrent jobs for this b2d folder. Low disk space threshold 10GB, Auto detect settings
Tape drive: Certance LTO Ultrium 2: Default settings
The Backup to disk Job Generates errors that it can't find the directory and subdirectorys and that it can't connect to the other agents.(Screenshot 4)
The duplicate job (B2D to Tape) generates the the error that a backup set was created witch contains no data. (Screenshot 5)
Please help!
We have the evaluation version of Backup Exec 12.5 (updated with the latest updates via Live Update)
We are at day 46 of our 60 day trial.
The backup had run for about 25 day's without any trouble but then the problems as described appeared.
Please help!
