12.5 install on a Dell Poweredge 2850

When I try to install 12.5 I keep getting a message saying can not install on a encrypted or compressed drive. I am trying to get the Powervault 124T online but unfortunately the I have Veritas 9.1 which is not compatible with Powervault. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get 12.5 installed onto the Poweredge 2850?

Is the drive that you are trying to install to compressed or encrypted?

Encrypted, can this be installed onto a external that stays permenatly connected to the server?

yes.  as long as the disk is mounted when you try to run Backup Exec, it can be an internal or external driver.
