I am attempting to find a way to restrict logon account permissions. I would like to make the ability to restore data from only a few of our backup jobs available to a class of Active Directory user accounts. I have been attempting to find solutions in the titanic manual and online, but have yet to encounter anything which resembles my desired result.
In a nutshell, I have 11 jobs which are run daily to backup different types of data. I have a request to allow a class of IT folk to restore data from two of those jobs. Is there a way to restrict their ability to create and launch restore jobs for just those two backup jobs?
