AOFO Store .VSP files being created

I have a folder that is called Backup Exec AOFO Store and three files have been recently created equally over 8 gig of space. In the folder are _BEVspCacheFile_00.VSP files being created. After reading some information from the knowledge base it seems like Veritas creates this file during backups with Advanced Open File Option selected. I would assume these temporary files should automatically be deleted by Veritas but were not. Is it okay to delete them and what causes them to be created? The only type of Virus scanning software that is used in our Network is Trend Micro's NetSuite. Any assistance would be helpful.

Hello,

During a backupusing AOFO, the cache files are created. It seems in this case that the files are not getting deleted automatically. You can refer to the following technotes and follow the steps therein in case they pertain to your scenario:

Title: The Advanced Open File Option cache file is not removed after a successful backup.
http://support.veritas.com/docs/263304

Title: The Advanced Open File Option's Cache File does not clear after a backup completes.
http://support.veritas.com/docs/267656

In case this does not resolve the issue or if the problem is different, do elaborate it.

Regards.
