AOFO in backup exec 2010

I have a question about the AOFO, I just switched over from netbackup and the way it worked there was, we had VSP enabled, it has setting to where it would go and how big it was allowed to get. If it hit that max size it would disable snapshot and continue backing up with VSP turned off. Looking at the new one I can't find any options for it. I can turn it on and let it (backup exec) decide, or I can enable Volume Shadown copy etc... (btw these are mainly 2003 server with a small amount of 2000 servers, I see VSP is now 2000 only). I don't want it to try and write to the C: drive under any case or it will crash the server in most cases (as the free space on C is around 3-10 GBs). Also, I don't want the cache to get crazy big or that will cause some issues too. What would someone recommend I use for my AOFO option and is there a way to direct it to a specific location and limit the size? (if so can I tell it to disable snapshot and continue any way?) Thanks for any help, I don't want to skip any files that are opened but not sure how to approach this without risk of killing a server.

Hi,

2 articles to read...1 is an off-site article.
There is an AOFO wizard you can run from within Backup Exec that will allow you to make certain changes, like where the snapshots are stored, minimum quiet time etc.
