ARCSERVE DATA RESTORE

Hello
Before the Installation of BE I was using ARC Serve Backup Software. I uninstall ARC Serve and Installed BE 10.
Now i want to restore files which were backup from ARC serve.
Some times Backup Exec restore the files but some times not.
Some times restore the folder only but not the contents of that folder and logs shown that job is Sucessfull and not a single file skiped.

Perform an inventory and catalog operation and then try to restore the data.

No still the same problem
NT utility not picks the tape drive even i test this with diffrent servers and tape drives

Hi,

Please try if the following steps could help you:

1) Uncheck the option "Use storage-based media" under "Tools" -> "Options" -> "Catalog" in Backup Exec.

2) Now perform the catalogs operation

3) Create and run a restore job.
