Abfrage nach Band Namen , BE2012

Hallo zusammen,

wir möchten dem Anwender im Rahmen einer GFS Sicherung vor dem Backup eine Nachricht zusenden lassen in der aufgefordert wird das korrekte Band einzulegen, z.B. "Bitte legen Sie Band FREITAG 3 ein". Geht das mit BE2012 und welche Schritte müssen wir dazu konfigurieren?

I don't understand this.

We've got one tape for each working day (=4), one for the week and one for each month.

We would like to label the tapes in order to create a message to the responsive user telling him to feed the right tape like this "Please insert tape friday".

In a gfs situation we would like to notify the recipient with a message like this "pleas insert tape week 3"

As far as i know you cannot do this. You cannot generate a message through BE. the only message you will get is "please insert overwritable media" . there is no way you can specify a specific media label for a job
