I have upgraded CASO and one MMS to FP2 ,but found FP3 has been released. So I test to upgrade CASO to FP3.In my test environment, I can upgraded CASO FP2 to FP3 without problem. But the MMS which is still running BE15 1180.0 cannot communicate with CASO 1180.2113. Error please refer to attachment.
Can CASO 1180.2113 works with the MMS and agent of version 1180.0 ? We cannot upgrade all the MMS in a day, so we have to ensure the jobs on CASO are still working after upgrading CASO to FP3 but MMS and agents are still running 1180.0 . Thanks

Ideally FP3 should be upgraded across the board, but it should still work.
Are all the services on the CASO started up? Have you tried to restart the BE services on the MMS server/s?

The MMS should still be able to communicate with the CASO.
On the MMS, open a cmd & browse to the Backup Exec directory. Run the following command & post the output -
pvlsvr.exe -console
Also, the event viewer should contain more relevant errors.
