Access Is Denied On Novell Agent Even When using Proper Credentials?

Can anyone explain this no matter what account i use it says access denied we never had this issue before!!!!


We are running Symantec 11d

Novell Netware 5.1

Client is installed on server and I can select the files but when i test credentials it fails under the accounts we have always used and if i run a job it fails!!!!Message was edited by:

The most likely cause is that you are not using a fully qualified name for the account.

I assume that you have upgraded the agent? Check the version/build by looking in sys:\bkupexec\version.doc.

After being on hold for 1.5 hours with support only to be told I was in the wrong que I searched the knowledge base endlessly for an answer and came up with nothing.
 
I decided to google insted and found Nathan's solution here:
 
 
If the credentials check fails and you can browse your Novell directories in the selection list it is a bug in the software.  Just go ahead and run your job.  This was according to Nathan.  I did and guess what?  The backup job accessed my Netware server fine!
 
What a waste of a friday night!
 
Supposedly going to be fixed in SP 1
 
Now I am going home :)
