Access denied while backing up

Receiving the error description 'Access is denied.' when backing up exchange on a few users. It happens on just one or more 'Inbox' and 'deleted items'. This is not a permissions problem. I have instructed the users to empty their deleted folder and clean up the inbox, but else could be causing this problem.
I've already went thru support and search on this, Document ID: 266178; TechNote ID: 261744, TechNote ID: 261744
If there is something I'm overlooking, or should have done.. Please any help would be most appreciated.

Hi,
The error message "a0008488 hex," "access denied," or "access is denied" is returned when the logon account provided to attach to a resource does not have sufficient rights to back up the resource. Most access denied messages can be resolved by providing an alternate account with local administrative rights to the resource for Backup Exec to connect with.
This is most easily accomplished by using the Logon Account Manager located on the drop-down selections from the Network menu.
