Add New License to existing Customer No. and get 11d keys

I have an existing customer number, from version 10d that I purchase in Feb '05

I just purchased backup exec 10d and downloaded 11d x64. I need to get a key generated for the 11d but when I use the serial number on the certificate, it says invalid customer number and serial number combo.

So, how do I go about adding my new 10d (11d) to my current customer number, and then how do I go about generating the key so that I can "upgrade" the trial that I installed 11d as?
